ABOUT MICHELE
Michele, born and raised in NY, has resided in Savannah Georgia since 1996. She started a business as a successful muralist, accomplishing a multitude of paintings for commercial, public and residential clients in and around the Savannah area. She now owns and manages the Horizon Gallery in the beautiful downtown area of Savannah overlooking the Savannah river. She enjoys capturing through her paints the local scenery as well as people and pets.
Over the years Michele has perfected her own signature technique . Using a highly textural paste mixed in with oil colors, she creates a stunning three dimensional effect which draws people in to ' feel' the artwork as well as view it. Michele concentrates most of her time painting on canvas but is still available for select mural jobs. She has also developed a method of creating 'removable' murals.
PET PORTRAITS
The eyes have it! Renowned for her animal portraits, Michele captures the spirit of her subjects and brings them alive through their eyes and life-like expressions. An heirloom in creation, Michele's renditions have become fixtures in homes and collections, permanently fixing loved pet family members for now and for future generations to come.
Send good, clear photos and Michele can capture and immortalize your pet in true oils on canvas!! She can work from photos or even emailed jpeg images. Michele usually paints on "gallery wrapped" canvas (no frame involved), but we do offer framing options as well. Contact us for pricing and sizes. Usually commissions require a 1/3 down payment and two week turn around time. If so requested an ongoing upload can be arranged for clients to view work as it progresses. ARCHITECTURAL RENDITIONS AND LANSCAPES
Well known for her ability to capture the feeling and colors of structures, Michele creates true architectural renditions of the subject matter ranging from beloved vacation homes, commercial buildings or family residence, an ability to bring three dimensional factors to landscaping through the clever and unique use of texture brings out eye-catching reality rarely seen in contemporary works.

Michele captures the spirit and soul of Savanah in her work. Her unique tromp l'oeil style, creating three dimensional illusions, further draws in the viewer to relax in the magical worlds she creates. As a prolific passionate artist, she has amassed a number of original oil paitnings available for sale at her Gallery and on this site.

Prints on canvas or water color paper are available of all images seen on this site. 8"x10" framed canvas prints start at only $55!!! 8"x10" matted paper prints start at only $40!! Certain canvas prints are also available for artist texturizing, an enhancing technique where the artist paints on the print, bringing out textures and dimension and in the end creating a unique piece of art in itself.
SHIPPING: shipping costs are a separate charge. We usually use UPS.
Paintings to be shipped out of the state of Georgia are TAX FREE.
